Today is the last painting day. Tomorrow will be touch ups and clean up. I am not the neatest painter and doors are tricky so I will be scrubbing a few paint spots out of the carpet as well as cleaning the house.

Here are some recipes for today.

Italian Turkey Burgers

1 pound lean ground turkey

3 garlic cloves minced

1 cup fresh spinach chopped

1 tablespoon parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 whole wheat hamburger buns

1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)

4 slices provolone cheese (optional)

Place all ingredients (except mushroom and cheese) in a large bowl, mix together with hands. Form mixture into 4 patties. Place patties on plate and loosely cover and put in fridge for 1 hour.

Heat grill to high heat. Place patties on grill and cook 6-7 minutes a side. If you are using cheese place cheese on top of patties with 2 minutes left.

If you are using mushrooms, saute mushrooms while burgers are cooking.

Place burger on the bun, top with mushrooms and enjoy.

This recipe is my own creation.

Banana Bites

1 medium banana sliced

2 tablespoons almond butter

2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips

Lay half of banana pieces on a plate. Spread almond butter on each banana slice, sprinkle with dark chocolate chips and top with another banana.

A delicious snack!!
