$1 Margaritas Starting July 2 in All Applebees in Texas

Apparently crazy from the heat, Apple Texas, a franchise partner of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar with 67 restaurants in the state, is making a bold move in the casual dining segment: offering its best-selling 10 oz. Margarita for a buck for an entire month. The aptly-named DollaRita is…

Review: 76th and Newbury's Push Pin Travel Map

If you are an avid traveler like we are there is nothing like tracking your overseas visits whether it's electronically with digital maps or even on interactive canvas maps. While digital maps are fun, yes, we agree that physical canvas world maps are the best.

We recently worked with 76th and Newbury on a customized 20 x 30 Push Pin Travel Map. By the way - we love it! We were able to choose the size, name, colors, and even a quote we wanted to add. The entire map is customizable to your liking so whatever color scheme you have in mind, they can match those colors to your precise taste.

We chose a rather dark theme for our office to match our bookcases and sofa. It turned out great. It was easy to hang and isn't incredibly heavy. We can't wait to begin putting pins in the countries we have visited.

One of the things we particulary loved while working with 76th and Newbury is that the process was so smooth and easy even with the customization. We also got the chance to work with a real designer named Jesse.

We placed our order on November 10 and the customization was complete on November 14. That included a weekend. In fact, we received emails during the weekend from Jesse which was really unexpected, but greatly appreciated so we could finish our canvas.

Jesse sent us an original proof that we could go over and make changes to before he created the final canvas. That step in the customization process was extremely helpful because there were small changes we wanted to make in the quote. He also sent a revised proof to make sure we were satisfied with our final customizations.

I do wish we would have taken a little more time to play around with colors now that I think about it. We liked how the darker theme turned out, but now we kind of wish we played with a bit of color to add more expression to our office. Next time for sure!

For a customized product, we love, love, love that the turnaround was really quick not only with the customization, but also with delivery. The canvas was packed nicely in a cardboard box and wrapped in plastic.

After tooling around a bit on the 76th and Newbury web site we noticed that the prices are extremely affordable for customized canvases and also their art paper prints. Anything they have would make a wonderful holiday gift. Now, we're thinking about more prints and canvases for our office.
