Baby Showers: The Next Big Thing

Like so many modern celebrations, Baby Showers have arrived in the UK from North America. It’s a real tradition over there and, like High School Proms, Halloween and Black Friday, one of those exciting social events that is catching on big time over here.

The idea is simple but universally appealing. Throw a party for the pregnant mother and her…

Monetizing Your Mom Blog is Easier Than Ever With Media.net

As a new generation of influencers crop up on the net and veteran bloggers continue to idealize the way for interacting with brands and getting paid, companies the world over are vying for the attention of both. Some are wooing bloggers with the prospect of lucrative affiliate deals while others pile influencers with products for reviews, added with a monetary benefit. Some companies are flying…

OUR DAILY PINS

Hello loyal readers. You guys might have noticed how my blog interests and topics has shifted the past few months, it actually started slowly since the whole pregnancy period last year. I am afraid this will effect the category of my readers  / blog audience. But I am here to let you know you don't have to worry at all :-P because I am keeping all the main weekly topics together with the motherhood update posts.  There will still be food, style, travel, health and home topics with family consideration.
To be honest, I don't want my blog to be just another typical mom blog where you read the same usual mom things repeated over and over.. I have always been an unconventional person, who like to do her own thing in her own unique way and ditch the traditional and common ways of doing things.
During the first newborn 5 months period I might have got a bit extreme in baby focus, like I mentioned on my pervious Shopping diary : safety comes first  describing how shopping for certain cosmetics became one of my highest concerns keeping in mind the baby's safety. Its a natural result of the whole maternity leave, motherhood excitement and concern of the risk of making a mistake or missing something. Not to mention rising a baby in a Swedish environment is whole a lot different and idealistic than it is back home.
Now I am much more relaxed and content about it all. I have survived the newborn period and things are getting better and better. My old self is back, so I am glad won't be sucked up in the classic momy lifestyle where I can lose my identity.

In few days are going on a seafood buffet / spa cruise getaway and in few weeks later I am going to have my first own time, having a friends reunion trip for a weekend. Until then I will keep you posted by my social media feeds, stay in touch!

* PS I would like to know what you guys think about the new blog look and user interface!
