My experience through cheer was exciting, scary, confusing and fun!!!
The cheer clinic was five days and in those few days you learn the tryout dance, cheer, chant and jumps.  During the actual day of tryouts, they will call you out by groups. Then you'll perform in front cheer judges. After everyone has gone, there may be "Call Backs" . 
Call Backs is a second chance to tryout in front of the judges, which is a good thing! The judges do call backs for many reasons, you may have the same score as another contestant or they think you have potential.

The first few days of cheer clinic learning the dance, cheer and chant may seem hard and confusing. I promise by the end of the week of cheer clinic you'll be doing the routines in your sleep.
