Blogging Tips: Ten Things You Should Be Doing Right Now

Did ya’ll know that part of my day job involves teaching people all about blogging and social media? Well, it does. Which makes me at least a semi-expert in what you should be doing right now to improve your blog, curate your audience and just generally leave a larger impact on the world wide web. So what does this mean today? Well, it means I’m going to sit here on my couch, eat some Cheez-Its and tell you ten ways to help you do all of the above.

1. Get your own domain. If you’re serious about blogging and you’re not a complete newbie to the industry, then get your own domain. It’s fine to casually blog on a non-self-hosted site like blogger or WordPress, but long term you’re going to have a lot more flexibility by purchasing your own url and hosting. That's good to know, I'm a newbie and I love the world of blogging but its a tad overwhelming when it comes to getting followers and staying within the regulations required in blogging. I hope to learn because I do love what I do!, Thanks for sharing.
