This is a little more intermediate in its scope.  They are delicious though and I love to make them on the weekends as a little treat.  Very little sugar, but since you have to fry them they are on the fatty side.  Everyone needs a treat every so often though. The tricky part is really rolling the dough out thin enough that when you put it in the oil it cooks all the way through without getting too crispy on the outside.  I always have a few that are really doughy inside and it take a couple of tries to get the oil to just the right temperature.  So here it is… Read more
