Planning meals and snacks out for your toddler can be a bit frustrating. After all, with six meals each day to think of, you may be wondering what the hell to feed them?

I've written before about what my daughter eats in a day (check it out here). And it's no secret that I'm a bit of a food snob (gasp!).  But sometimes it can get a bit tricky to come up with what meals to feed your toddler each and every day, day in and day out.

So I thought I'd share a list of 9 meals my daughter eats on a regular basis. I rotate through these meals but one thing stays consistent: I make sure to continuously have a few things prepped in the fridge or freezer. These things are normally; homemade muffins, soba noodles, rice, quinoa, almond pancakes, mini quiche etc

Having a few things on hand makes throwing together healthy meals super easy. And literally, sometimes her meals are the most random mixture of foods!

Homemade Muffins

I always always have some sort of muffin in the freezer. Seed muffins being my favorite!

Greek Yogurt and Almond Butter With Berries

The yogurt gives baby bear a nice protein and calcium hit and the almond butter provides her some necessary fats. Berries, well berries are just her favorite

Bites

These range from mini quiches, to pancake bites, to date and seed balls. She loves them all and they are perfect on the go!

Green smoothie

Baby bear has a green smoothie with me about six days per week. She adores them and I can sneak so many nutrients into them that I love that she loves them!

Bowls

These are just easy to throw together. I almost always have rice or soba noodles cooked in the fridge so I give her those with some chopped tomatos, peppers or mushrooms. Add a bit of tomato sauce or tangy lemon dressing and she's golden

Quinoa

Same goes as above. I normally have some quinoa or beans in the fridge. Combining those with whatever veggies I can shop up and adding a balsamic & mustard dressing and she will gobble it up! Points if you have feta. Baby bear adores feta

Fruit & Avocado

Baby bear would eat fruit all day if I let her. Any fruit. Pairing it with avocado at least allows a slower sugar release and a boost of healthy fats.

Omelets/Eggs

Another thing my daughter could devour. Her favorite is a mushroom omelet but she will eat eggs regardless of how you cook them!

Pancakes

Normally I make our pancakes fresh but I do keep a stash of my every day pancake in the freezer. This makes rushed morning that much easier because I can toss it in the toaster oven to heat while she gets dressed!

And there you have it! The top meals my daughter rotates through. Obviously I kept most major dinners off this list as most parents can get through dinner. I always find the snacks the trickiest to plan out. Our dinners are similar to everyone elses: stir fry, curry, nodle bowls, quinoa bowls, stew, chili etc.

I'm prett sure that baby bear will eat anything I put in front of her. So as long as I possibly can I am going to keep giving her real, quality meals. Hopefully this list gives you a few more ideas on what you can feed to your babe too!

What's your go-to snack?
