While spending some time wandering on the internet, I came across this picture on Mseffie.com. At first glance, I noticed that they are using scrabble pieces and a globe to get their message across. Cute. Artsy. I really enjoy the antique effect they used to bring the picture together. However, before I could click on to another page, the message caught my attention again. Rather than the letters that spelled "Go There," I saw "Just Go Already!"
How many times have…Continue

Having a successful caravan trip with young kids comes down to planning, every, single, time. Your planning and the kids involvement should begin well before you set off on the road. While planning your itinerary get the kids involved. Ask them what kinds of things they’d like to see and do and plan in accordance. Of course, you might have something even better in mind, but it will help your kids get excited about the trip and ease any anxiety they may be dealing with at the thought of…Continue

"So, you want to bring your kid to Europe for a one month vacation extravaganza. Sounds like fun. You're nuts." (insert eye roll)
This is the reaction I got from about 90% of the people when I told them about my summer vacation plans. Me, my daughter Phoebe, and my husband were going to Paris,…Continue
THAT WAS WHAT WE DID... My BIL took us to the California State Fair a few days before we were due to fly back, so nice of him for the drive took around forty five minutes to reach...

But traveling with children, especially with little ones under 5 can be hectic at times, particularly on long flights. From being tired, lack of room to move, or pure boredom, these flights can be tumultuous. So which airlines cater more to families? Well look no further! Based on my personal experience and searching the web, I have compiled a list of the top…Continue
I WAS ASKED ME WHETHER I VISITED GRAND CANYON when I was in Las Vegas... yes, I definitely did this time round. During our one week stay in Las Vegas, we went for a day trip all the way to Grand Canyon, it was a four hours drive... no joke about that. We started off early and passed through…Continue

I love to travel and being a filmmaker has given me all kinds or reasons to go many places. But as my family grew I got tired of long hours in airplane seats and nights alone in hotel rooms. Then, a few years ago I had a flash of inspiration (some might say insanity, but I’m sticking with inspiration). I decided to parlay a project in Germany into a summer adventure for my family of six.
It turned out to be a memorable vacation and taught me a very important lesson: Big…Continue

The Indianapolis Children's Museum is the world's largest museum of its kind and a definite must-see attraction if you have kids. My kids loved everything about it and would like to go back as often as possible. Between the excellent dinosaur exhibit, train displays, indoor carousel and playhouse, National Geographic Treasures of the Earth exhibits, dedicated toddler/preschooler area, and plenty of hands-on science stations, the kids will enjoy hours of educational entertainment. There are…Continue

Chicago is such an awesome city to visit: full of history, world-class museums, shopping, fun dining options and kid-friendly attractions. If you are thinking ahead to spring break or summer vacation, Chicago is definitely a place to keep on the list of musts for family trips. I have visited Chicago at least a dozen times over the years. Some trips were for business, some for a girls' only weekend, a few have been a one-day up and back Chicago day trip and, of course, the family…Continue

This series of books began with ‘Order of the Dimensions’, where Jane and her team of graduate students work, with their professor, on a box, which can transport people into different dimensions.
In the sequel, ‘Revised Orders’, Jane is tempted again by her friend Amber to enter the box and the adventures in different dimensions continued.
In this third book, there…Continue

In the first book of this series ‘Orders of the Dimensions’, Jane Kremowski and her team of graduate students work with their professor to make a box which will enable them to visit other dimensions.
In this, the sequel, encouraged by her friend Amber, Jane, yet again finds herself persuaded to enter the box.
This a sequel, in every sense of the word, and so I would strongly…Continue
