My little baby is growing up! I’ve been really holding on to him being my baby. He’s my last – no more babies in this family for 20 more years (pray to God), so it’s been really REALLY hard on me. I’m letting go – I’ve come to the point where I can now focus on him growing up instead of freaking out about not being able to baby him anymore. I mean – hell yeah, I’m still going to baby him, but I have to let him assert his independence. Toddlers are like teenagers – they’re all trying to… Continue

The best parenting help in the world would be if each toddler came with an individual owner's manual to assist parents in the trying times of toddlerhood. Sure there is plenty of helpful advice out there from other moms and dads and professionals, but every child is different, with a different temperament so usually parents end up on a trial and error basis when using parenting help to assist in raising their toddler. Much of parenting is trial and error and not giving up until you find the… Continue

MLM is an acronym for “multilevel marketing,” and is also known as network marketing. MLM is not a business type it is a way to conduct your business.
MLM companies are not from other companies that manufacture or distribute products. The key difference is in the way MLM companies advertise and distribute their products or services.
Instead of doing their own advertising and having their own sales staff, MLM companies pay independent distributors to sell product. Sales are… Continue

This weekend me, the kids, and the boyfriend braved the crazy cold weather to watch the Little Rock Christmas Parade (after being FORCED to watch the crappy Jacksonville Christmas Parade because my daughter's band chose to partake) which is a component of our holiday tradition
that we continue to maintain.
At some point near the end, my six year old, could not wait to go pee. So the boyfriend did the honorable thing and volunteered to… Continue

While our bun is still in the oven, I've watched enough TV to know that babies need diapers. Even though we did build an impressive fence in the backyard I have been instructed that, "No, the baby can not roam free in the backyard to do his business!!" In light of that, our friends at Hey It's Free found a deal to snag some free diapers. Give it a looksie if your backyard idea "back"fired on you too. :) Click below:…

Frankly, you MUST find the time for yourself! If you are not healthy and fit, your family can't count on you. Your work productivity will decrease, and you won't feel good about… Continue

Being penis challenged, I have absolutely no idea why it seems near impossible for little boys to pee only in the toilet. One would think that the target is big enough. Most toilet seats are about 1.5 feet long, and about 6 inches wide; plenty of room to adequately catch a stream of kiddie pee, right? WRONG. I find pee all over the bathroom. It’s on the floor, sprinkled on the bathtub, and don’t even get me started on the collection of pee I ALWAYS find in puddles at the base of the toilet. It… Continue

My son is 23 months old and we started potty training months back (around 18 months). He was on the younger side, but was showing signs of being ready that I didn't want to ignore. He started off being very interested in his potty, and would simply sit and read a book while I wondered and waited. Most of the time he would go pee or poop. We'd get so excited! We'd scream, jump, and praise him! Because he was younger, I didn't force it. Nothing like a training exercise; just time to time I'd try… Continue
