I used to see this mother and sigh. What message does this mother send to her children with the way she dresses in public?…

This weekend, I finally tackled something that I've been needing to do for a long time - I finally cleaned out my closet.

Back when I was pregnant, I told myself I wouldn't be lazy and wear my pajamas all day when my kid arrived. I would attempt to stay as hip and cool as I was pre baby, which we all know wasn't that cool, so the bar was set low. I would shower everyday, even if that meant at 7pm at night, it would still count...IT WOULD. I would brush my teeth, I would brush my hair, cuz I'm not trying to harbor a gaggle of birds, I would pluck my eye brows, I would, ya know, be hygienic. That's easy enough…Continue

I cannot be the only one....who used to have style, I'm talking up on the trends, shopped at fashionable stores, and thought of my wardrobe as something of an investment. Now, as a mom, all of that knowledge of what was haute has disappeared and has been replaced with a mastery of all the latest Lego sets, which doesn't quite compliment my outward appearance in the same way.…Continue

Good Morning Dolls! I am in an excellent mood this morning, want to know why? Well, its because last night I did the unthinkable and went to bed at exactly 9:53p. Not only did I go to bed early, but I had an uninterrupted sleep; I turned my phone off, turned off my tablet and simply slept. It was absolutely perfect! I am now a firm believer that rest makes for a happier mom indeed! …Continue

Like most women, I love shoes. Shoes make – or break – the outfit. Shoes are faithful. They will always fit and remain the same size no matter the size fluctuations in other areas of your wardrobe. Belts especially.
Whole fairy tales are written about shoes and endless numbers of Pinterest boards are dedicated to shoes. I know I’m not…Continue
