Sprouting Threads- A Mom's New Best Friend + GIVEAWAY ($100 Value)!

Our kids need to wear clothes...well, at least need to be clothed in public (I'm lacking in patience for disapproving stares just as much as the next mama)...and Sprouting Threads is changing the way parents shop for their kids' clothes.

How many times have you bought an adorable new outfit for your kiddo, and then, it's outgrown in a few weeks or months? I mean, kids…

How to select the best Wordpress theme for your website

Wordpress is installed on almost half of all new websites - and it's no surprise - given that it's open source, free to download, supported by developers everywhere and has the widest variety of design themes available over any other CMS - it's a great choice for many website owners.

However, when it comes time to design your website and choose a theme, the choices can be daunting.

As a professional web designer, I get asked all the time how business owners and bloggers can set…

What is YOUR successful way you drive traffic to your blog?

4 days ago, I commented on a blog which led to that blogger sharing one of my posts. I went from a good day of having only 40 views to 4017 and just on her page it had 126 shares. It felt great because I finally knew if people just couldn't find my blog or if they didn't like what I wrote. What works for you. I haven't focused much on SEO. At this point I have 26 articles and have focused mostly on content and reading other blogs and commenting if they interest me. What else should I be…

Uh, You Weren't Planned

You know that Nana is very funny.  We all laugh at the stories she tells of mommy and uncle growing up and all of the funny and wonderfully weird things that we did growing up.  Now they aren’t as funny as the two of you, but maybe that’s because I’m partial to you two…then again, you two are quite the characters.  Your father and I can’t help but smile and laugh when we think of the things that you do or say, and not to mention the things that you do to each other.  It’s sheer…

Please Brand Me Now!!!

Branding.

Argh.  Sooo challenging...and so permanent.  It needs to be just right.

Identifying your "brand" is kind of like going to college, where the goal is trying to figure out what you want to do with the rest of your life.  But at eighteen, who really knows THAT?

You have to pick a major but what are the odds that in a few years you'll even be interested in pursuing a career in the field?  Your scope of interests expands, you identify and refine your skill sets, you…
