Yes, we know that becoming a parent is one of the loveliest feelings in the world. A mother bears the pain for nine months. She then gives birth to her baby. During the nine months, the baby is slowing growing in the womb. Parents have many wishes regarding their children. They want to make their children educated and well-established. But sometimes, some of the parents do treat their child as a property. In such case, an invisible distance appears between the parents and their kids. Here… Continue

What should I pack for my baby while staying at the hospital? Depending on the hospital that you are delivering at most of the time the hospital will provide you and your baby with basic necessities. In fact, when I was pregnant with my first baby I had no idea what I needed to take with me so I was stuffing all of the basic items that I might need… Continue

As a Entrepreneur, CEO, President, and Founder of our own LLC, Corps, and Companies we often view our business, products, and services as something we have raised from infancy to toddler years. Walk to school and watched it play, and grow with clients and business partners. Now that it is at it's graduation day, when our business needs to be divided to conquer and grow larger and more successful, what makes it fail or maybe not fail but become stumped in growth? Is… Continue

It was rather frightening as I stood at the keyboard playing and squeaking out a few notes the best I could.
I could feel the blockage in my voice. I had low tones. A little gravely, but lower than ever, which scared me a bit.
I had high tones, too. A bit thin and weak, but then - I couldn't expect… Continue

Sarah peed on the carpet in my room today. Again.
She does it every day. I don't know why. She admires the dogs I guess.
Of course no one bothers to tell me that there is a puddle of pee slowly seeping into my 6 month old carpet, burrowing itself down to my waterproof pad, daring me to suck it out with my steam cleaner. Nope. They just let me step right in it.
Now I know what you are thinking. Poop on the floor the other day, pee today... what kind of household… Continue

I discovered a new blog this weekend called CassieBoorn.com. What really grabbed me was the "20-Something Self Letters" category, which includes letters written by women to their younger twenty-something selves. The letters are filled with wisdom and advice only women in the advanced ages of thirty or forty can dispense. Cassie also has another category labeled "56 Things To Do Before I’m 25" where she lists "Buy a pair of Uggs" as her #22 thing to do, but we won't hold that against… Continue

Remember My Melody? Was she Hello Kitty's friend, or sister, or something? Anyhow I remember that I loved the Sanrio Characters when I was a kid. Here I am, almost 40 years later and these same little cutie characters are still around. They've survived the 70's bell bottoms, the 80's big hair, 90's hip hop, and the first decade of Y2K.
Well, I have a favorite blog that I like to check out, it's called DorkStitch. I think Missy who is the author of that blog shares my admiration of… Continue

Not Me! Monday
I did not
wear a white and a black woolen sock to New York City the other day. Uh, yes I did. I was invited by Hasbro to a blogger event before they officially opened their doors for the New York Toy Fair (look out for the extensive blog post on that). I could only find one of each, it was 6 in the morning when I got dressed, and nobody was going to notice anyway. I could have worn other socks -- I have plenty -- but these are my… Continue

I learned about Jennifer and Stellan a few days ago, and that sweet little boy has been on my mind since then. Jennifer’s beautiful blog, My Charming Kids, is actually one of the first mom blogs I ever came across seven months ago when I started my blog, but I hadn’t checked in until a tweet by another mom caught my attention. Stellan, one of four, is her nine-month-old adorable little boy who has heart failure, and Jennifer blogs about their difficult and heart-breaking journey every day. More… Continue
