I am a stay at home mom of two boys, and have just recently returned to freelance writing after four years of full time parenting. My blog was just accepted as a Seattle Post Intelligencer reader blog, which I'm really excited about, and I'm hoping people will enjoy it.
What is your blogging philosophy?
Parenting is really, really hard, and I think that it's important that we are honest about our experiences - the more we share, the more confident we will all feel!

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.
Hey Peryl! I read your recent blog post and I sadly can not say I'm to surprised by the feedback you got. Parents are mad-crazy! People need to learn to step outside of themselves and that not everything is worth getting all negative about. To each his own!
haha whats funny is I'm not even that much of a wine and sushi person but right now its all I can think about like it was my favorite food or something! And you're right my comments apparently don't work! I was totally clueless about it, it must have happened when I changed my layout last week but I don't know why, its a plain blogger template so you'd think it'd be foolproof. ah well.
I read and commented on your child abuse prevention month post and was so glad to see someone else had written about it as well. You should check out the article I wrote in honor of it. I've been active in child abuse prevention for years now and I wish there was something more as a group we could do to raise awareness.
