Do you ever have those flash back moments? I came across some old pictures of the kids that II had scanned and saved on the computer. Now I'm all caught up in nostalgia (sniff, sniff). I just uploaded them to my home page here. I have a little doggie too - William named him "Drake" (no idea why). He is a shiu-poo and he follows me everywhere. If I get up at 3 a.m. in the morning to get a drink he gets up as well and follows me to the kitchen (I love him). I'm with you ... babying the family pooch is fun!
Hi Laurie - thanks for joining the "After the Kids Have Grown" group. I find it such a relief to be able to connect with other moms who have older children. It's still pretty new to me - that is the notion that I'm not that "mommy" anymore with young children. My kids' are teens with different needs and I'm an OLDER mommy with different needs that I'm actually looking forward to exploring!
