A warning for every mom

The teenage years suck! When I was pregnant some 17 years ago, no one ever thought to perhaps warn me, that the cute little baby boy I was going to have, would grow up to be so....what's the word.......hard headed, annoying, stubborn, etc. My day started waking up at the crack of dawn to take my 16 yr old to court (more on that in a second). It was IMPERATIVE (according to my sons attorney) that we be there on time. Okay, got it, do not be late.So everyone wakes up on time, except for my 16 yr…See More

My perfectly imperfect Mothers Day

So I am sitting here arguing w/ my 5 yr old about why it is that she cannot watch the Disney channel,(because her attitude sucks, that's why). My husband is in the bedroom coughing up a lung,my 16 yr old is still asleep, and I will not even bring up the fact that it is almost 3 in the afternoon. My 9yr old is outside playing, but makes sure every time he checks in wishes me a "Happy Mothers Day Mom" and informs his younger sisters "be nice to Mom, it is her day". My 3yr old keeps sneaking…See More

I am a young (and by young I mean forever 29) mother of four, who on most days is happily married to my husband and vodka. I do not know how to cook, so you will never see me blogging about recipes, I have mixed feeling on give aways, so I will probably not be doing that either on my blog, what I will be doing is asking for advice on how to spice up my marriage, how to deal w/ the god awful teen years, and lots of making fun of my husband and kids, cause that's what I do best....all in the name of love....and vodka.
What is your blogging philosophy?
I do not really think I have a blogging philosophy which may be part of the problem. I will never use "the f word" in my blogs, but I do not mind reading other blogs that use it, I despise the sidebars and want mine as clean as possible, It takes a lot for me to comment on blogs (I know, I need to work on this) but when I do, I put thought behind it. You will never see me leave a "nice blog, you should come visit mine" comment, because, well, that is just dumb.

I know how to fake it too!

A lazy Tuesday afternoon found me napping on the sofa, my husband playing the stupid xbox and my brother in law cleaning the house.

I know, what is wrong with this picture right?

Anyhow,it was one of those naps where I was in and out of sleep dreaming about Edward Cullen and chocolate. Can it get any better than this?

No, no it can't.

The 9yr old came home from school, I was still half asleep, but probably could have gotten up if I really wanted… Continue
