Philippines - Cagayan de Oro Hit by Typhoon Sendong

Christmas won't be as happy as everyone else for thousands of families struck by Typhoon Sendong 1:00 AM December 17, 2011 Philppine time. An appeal by the residents of Cagayan de Oro to help the victims in kind or in cash to help them get through the days while waiting for a decent home to relocate as their houses were wiped out by the ravaging flashflood brought about by the typhoon. 500+ lives perished including helpless children.
