Love your blog, Lori! I'm at Goodreads but I'm not sure if you're the Lori from MO or KY - ?? Let me know and we can share books.

Keep up the great posts!

Thanks! Aren't they amazing? I'm with you - they've always been my ultimate goal. In fact, I would write for them for free or pay them!!!
I just loved the last issue. They seriously saved me from craziness when I first stayed home with my daughter.

I just turned part of my blog into a personal essay for Brain, Child - crossing my fingers it doesn't get rejected. It seems like it might work.

Where were you submitting?

Hi! Can I join?
Hmmm. I've gotten tons of rejection letters, so haven't mailed a manuscript out in the past year. I still have the desire to write, so I blog. It just clears my head a bit. I don't know exactly how qualified I am to be here, but I blog reading has lately replaced magazines for me, & I'm guessing there'll will be some great blog finds here. Thanks for having me :D.

Hello Writing Moms. I've been on Mombloggers for a while, but just finding time to explore the groups.

Most of my writing lately is for my blog, but I have a children's picture book being published this year, and a couple of magazine and anthology credits.

I try to adhere to the Butt in Chair method of writing, but I enjoy writing most when characters grab me and demand their story be told.

Not to distract but I just found the funniest Twitter address- it's a Haiku poetry one - have you seen it? It's @ twihaiku. It's fun.

I love to write poems, creative non-fiction, and now screen plays. I love to express myself. I just pray that I can overcome the distractions, and get my book completed in the next three weeks.
