I have a 2 year old with ASD and SPD. I talk about that plus all the other chaos in my life. I love reading about of ASD moms and their special babies. http://busybeavermama.blogspot.com
I would love to increase my readership as well. I am finding it a bit difficult. I do like coming on to the site and reading other blogs. I have found some great blogs. I normally keep track of the blogs that I join and try to comment on them at least once every other week until I just never hear from them. I love having tons of blogs to read and respond too.
I homeschooled my son with autism and wrote a book about one-on-one and small group teaching. I currently have several magazine articles in Autism Asperger's Digest (Autism Digest) on homeschooling a child with autism. Feel free to add your own positive comments and tips to the articles. my blog is simply delightful and I talk about my son a lot in it and about learning about him, autism and our lives.
Julie my son is 7 and he is high functioning. He does hit me when he gets mad or frustrated. I always give him a few moments to calm down and then try to hug or hold him and explain what is going on in a soft voice. and he is getting over the aggressive fit quicker.
Does you child with Autism have aggression towards you when he gets mad or frustrated? If yes how do you keep your child and you safe?
I am a Mother of a 10 year old son who has Severe Autism. I just started a new blog for a daily journal on our daily journal with Autism. I am looking for others to share the ups and downs with and help support one another. Here is the link to my new blog if interested in sharing.
