I home school my 9 and 10 year old in Texas. My kids post their work on our family blog which has now become their home school blog. They are currently covering the Olympics..

Hello! I am a newbie to the site:-) My name is Andrea, I homeschool my 9 year old son. I have been homeschooling since December of 2008 and we love it! Best thing we ever did for our son.

I am a Charlotte Mason fan!!! CM is NOT unstructured. My kids have learned more, read more, and accomplished more in one year with CM than with traditional methods. Try for curriculum suggestions. CM is not unschooling or montesorri. Try googling CM helps and also look for the CM carnivals for what other moms are doing. I don't have any websites on hand at the moment...I will have to search that out.

Hi, I'm new to this group and I'm not even a homeschooler...yet. I'm seriously thinking about homeschooling my two girls next year (ages 6 and 8) but have so many worries and doubts about my ability to do a good job without going insane. I also have two little boys at home ages 3 and 1. Has anyone else ever been where I'm at right now? What helped calm some of your fears?

Hello everyone! I’m new to the blogging community and very excited to make new friends. I like to blog about fun, frugal, educational activities you can do with your child. Today I suggested activities you can do with shaving cream. An example activity is writing spelling words in shaving cream. For more fun shaving cream activities and fun ideas check out my blog at I am looking forward to meeting new people!
